Summer time salads
We are loving salads lately. Here's a really simple salad with mushrooms and red onions. We made our own balsamic vinegar honey dressing with organic balsamic vinegar, organic extra virgin olive oil and finally with the star ingredient....Murray Cheese' Tremblay Honey.
So refreshing and quick!

What do you do with old bread?
Bread Pudding, of course! We added some Franny's raisins at the last minute for some texture. Decadent on these hot hot nights!

Baked Quinoa Casserole!
We're trying to go vegetarian and this dish hits the spot. Nothing but quinoa, veggies, and chedder cheese on top. (going vegan? sans the cheese.)

Roasting Chips
Forget potato chips, roasting your own chips is much more fun and tasty. It's a great snack or for a dinner party. We roasted some beet and parsnip chips. Tomorrow for dinner, we're roasting some kale chips. The kids love them. It's easy, slice your veggie of choice, (beets, parsnip, kale - tear into bits etc...)
toss or drizzle some olive oil on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
